Sean is a Reno native with over a decade of experience in film and broadcast television. After graduating Reno High School, he attended the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Lander, Wyoming where he fell in love with expedition travel. After NOLS, he studied Journalism at UNR before attending the Serac Adventure Film School (now Outside Adventure Film School) out of Boulder, CO. A trip to Bhutan with acclaimed documentary filmmaker Michael Brown prompted a chance to travel with Serac to Nepal to contribute as a cinematographer and editor on the award-winning film High Ground…a story of 11 wounded veterans and the mother of a fallen hero searching for personal summits by climbing Mt. Lobuche in the Himalayas. Upon returning to Reno, Sean worked at KRNV, News 4; first as a production assistant and later as a director and technical director…racking up over 2,000 hours of live and recorded television broadcast experience.

“I try to keep an “expedition mentality.” You have to account for the logistics like your gear and supplies…set goals, plan how you will achieve them, and work with a team to get the job done. That’s how I define success.”
